I got the idea for the red frame from a Ducati seen at the Milan M/C Show in 1985 (?). While not the original color, I still think it looks great - very Italian.

I live in Northern Wisconsin, USA. About 8 miles from the Michigan (U.P.) border. There are not too many Italian motorcycles in my neighborhood. Up here, most folks ride Harleys. And they are militant. Back in the east - where I'm from - Harley riders usually wave...if you wave to them first. Up here, they seem to just ignore anyone who's not on a Harley.

Great minds think alike, John. I think the red frames look sharp on our bikes. And, there is the tradition of the earliest V7 Sports having red frames.
