Vintage Moto Guzzi

Vintage Moto Guzzi The Community Building Website

Well, I should have my guzzi together by the end of this week. I did not do this bike in traditional colors. I did do some customizing, but I did NOT hack this bike up in any way! Changes so far are: Custom Megaphone pipes, custom paint, and I am putting a set of Maxxis White walls 120/90-18 on the front and back. I used the smallest car battery I could find to stuff between the side covers. I also found out that someone had put 88mm jugs and pistons on the motor. I have'nt seen too many of these bikes with drastic paint mods, and I thaught it would be neat to play with it a little bit being that it is my first motorcycle! :)

Where did you get those megaphones? Bet they have an interesting sound...

A company called patriot exhaust make'em for street rods. I wanted mine to come in a natural finish(no chrome or stainless which they also make), but they do have several sizes and finishes. I ordered them through www.jegs.com

The bike sounds like an old musclecar! No joke, but a little too loud for comfort. I have a set of baffles from another set of pipes that I'm debating on fabricating in.
